The Tasmanian Tourism Champion is the Tasmanian tourism industry's highest individual honour. Conferred by the TICT and announced at the Tasmanian Tourism Awards Gala each year, this award acknowledges an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Tasmanian tourism industry through their investments, leadership, advocacy, and both professional and voluntary service.

You can view the Honor Roll of past Tasmanian Tourism Champions here. Collectively, these champions have had an outstanding contribution to our state's visitor economy in both a personal and professional capacity. Any past recipient of this award cannot win it again.

Nominations are now open!

TICT welcomes you to nominate an individual or couple who you believe has made an outstanding contribution to the Tasmanian Tourism industry. The Tourism Champion will be selected based on the judging criteria from the submissions received.

1. Nominations open on Wednesday the 25th of September.
2. Prior to nominating, please familiarise yourself with the criteria, requirements, and expectations as outlined here.
3. You must complete a nomination via the Quality Tourism Framework (QTF) portal.
4. Written submission, images, and Letter/s of Support must be uploaded to the portal by 5pm, Wednesday 16th October 2024.
5. Nominations and subsequent submissions which do not comply, are incomplete, or submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
6. You must be prepared to receive contact from TICT and/or the judging team to reference-check any of the details you've provided.
7. It is expected that all nominees will attend the Tasmanian Tourism Awards Gala, held at Wrest Point Casino on Friday the 8th of November.
