Grants and funding
PowerSmart for Small Businesses
Provides grants of up to $1,000 to small businesses for energy efficiency audits.
Business Energy Efficiency Scheme
BEES supports electricity customers to invest in energy efficiency and electrification opportunities by supporting eligible applicants with financing costs.
The Energy Saver Loan Scheme provides no-interest loans to eligible applicants, including businesses, to fund the purchase price and installation of energy efficient products.
Tourism Emissions Reduction Grant Program - NO LONGER ACCEPTING
Provides one-off grants to tourism businesses of up to $50,000 (small business) and up to $100,000 (medium and large business) to implement projects that reduce emissions.
No-interest loans to install charging infrastructure for electric vehicles are now available for households, small businesses and non-profit organisations through the Tasmanian Energy Saver Loan Scheme.
Provides funding of $2,000 for new battery electric vehicles and second-hand (but ‘new to Tasmania’) electric vehicles. Funding has been exhausted, but where not used within the 6-month timeframe rebates will be re-released at 11.00 am every Tuesday until there is no funding left.
