About Sarah - CEO, Tourism Tasmania
As the Chief Executive Officer for Tourism Tasmania, Sarah leads tourism demand, brand, aviation and the visitor economy strategy for Tasmania.
A born and bred Tasmanian, Sarah brings more than 20 years of global tourism experience to the role. She began her career as a tour guide with Topdeck Travel, working her way up to Global General Manager in London, she has been a part of global senior leadership teams across Flight Centre, STA Travel, and Intrepid Travel. Before being appointed Chief Executive in 2022, Sarah was Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand at Intrepid Travel, while also sitting on the Tourism Tasmania Board. She also currently sits on the boards of Business Events Tasmania and Brand Tasmania.
