Allison Clark
Tackling Agritourism Trends
Intended workshop audience: Tasmanian agritourism operators of any size.
Allison Clark has been innovating in agribusiness for over 20 years and has led projects to elevate and evolve agritourism in Tasmania including Opening the Gate and the Agritourism Accelerator.
Just returned from an immersive research experience, Allison will share insights on trends and delve into a range of case studies so that you can learn more about what other operators are doing, what they are concerned about, and how they are innovating and evolving to meet visitor expectations.
The Workshop will start with a review of trends that are emerging and showcase how agritourism operators in Europe are working to adapt. There will also be an overview of research findings from the Global Agritourism Network Congress and what that might mean for Tasmania. There will be a chance to share your own perspective and gain some practical tips and tricks on the business essentials you need to be thinking about.
