Tasmanian Tourism People's Choice Award
2024 sees the reintroduction of the much-coveted People's Choice Award to the Tasmanian Tourism Awards program.
This award category is completely independent from the judging process, with winners selected based on consumer choice – combining both online review scores and a public vote.
- Online Review Score: Our Top Twenty-One Finalists comprise the Tasmanian tourism operators with the highest Global Review Index (GRI) score across the qualifying period, 1 July 2023 - 30 June 2024. The GRI is pulled from ReviewPro - an aggregator of online reviews from 130+ travel review and booking sites around the globe. Individual GRI scores will also form part of the final results.
- Public Vote: An online public vote will run for three weeks - from Wednesday the 25th of September 2024 until 5pm Wednesday the 16th of October 2024. Finalists are able to connect with visitors and followers to encourage them to vote for their favourite Tasmanian tourism experiences from the range of accommodation, attractions, distilleries, food tourism, hire services, tour and transport options.
A Gold, silver, and bronze winner will be awarded in this category, announced at the Tasmanian Tourism Awards gala on the 8th of November 2024.
The twenty-one 2024 People's Choice finalists are listed below, and it’s now up to the public to cast their votes for their favourites. By voting, you can go into the draw to win a $1,000 travel voucher to spend with the Tasmanian Travel and Information Centre on Tassie tourism experiences of your choosing, with thanks to Tourism Tasmania.
