Are you an employer of choice: why would you want to be one?

Intended workshop audience: Managers and owners of small to medium-sized businesses who employ staff.

This interactive workshop will explain what an Employer of Choice is as well as the benefits of building and maintaining a great workplace culture.

There will be an opportunity to work through a workplace diagnostic tool to identify what businesses are already doing that make them a great place to work as well as identify some simple strategies to improve culture, engagement and retention of employees and ultimately a business’ reputation as a place people want to work.

About Stacey

Stacey Joseph is the Business Services Manager at the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI).

Stacey has worked across a range of employer facing roles with the TCCI over the past 10 years. These roles have involved working with business owners and managers and their staff to design and deliver programs that support increased engagement, productivity and positive workplace culture.

Stacey has more than 15 years’ experience as a coach, facilitator, human resources and workplace culture specialist. She has extensive knowledge of contemporary HR practices as well as a strong understanding of the Fair Work Act and its implications for business.

Stacey is passionate about working with businesses to design and deliver bespoke solutions to workforce challenges and opportunities.
