The countdown is on to the annual Tasmanian Tourism Awards Gala – a night where we celebrate the very best of our industry. We had previously asked you to save the date of Friday 7 November for the Gala but, unfortunately due to an unexpected scheduling clash beyond our control, we will be moving the Gala forward by one week to Friday 31 October.

We recognise that some of our operators may have already made plans, and we do apologise for this, but we want to ensure this event is the very best it can be with a strong focus on our entrants.

For those in the north, the Gala will now be the evening following the Champions of Tourism event (30 October) – making a mega celebration of our industry. We know that many of the attendees from that event will be making the trip down the midlands the next day to also attend our Gala, not to mention those already travelling from all other areas of the state. If you are booking your accommodation at Wrest Point, be sure to mention you are attending the Tasmanian Tourism Awards Gala.

For those of you who had already booked accommodation at Wrest Point for the original date, please call 1800 139 760 and hotel reception will update your reservation at no extra cost.

There has been no change to the Finalist Announcement dates, and we look forward to seeing you at these events in early October, prior to the Gala on Friday 31st of October!
