Tourism Industry Coincil Tasmania

Projects

As the peak industry body, Tourism Industry Council Tasmania regularly initiates strategic projects designed to stimulate thinking and planning for the industry. We usually do this in partnership with other industry bodies and government.

Current TICT projects:

The Western Journeys Project

TICT is co-ordinating in partnership with the Tasmanian Government, Destination Southern Tasmania and the Cradle Coast Tourism Executive, the Western Journeys Project to establish an iconic drive journey on the Western half of Tasmania.

Cradle Mountain Master Plan

The Cradle Mountain Master Plan is the joint government-industry vision to establish Cradle Mountain as the premier National Park experience in Australia. TICT initiated this Master Plan in partnership with the Tasmanian Parks & Wildlife Service and the Cradle Coast Authority.

Tourism. It's a Team Effort

'Tourism. It's a team effort' is designed to encourage Tasmanians to consider the many ways tourism contributes to our community and to recognise that great destinations rely on many individuals and groups.
